The Sage:
Life is nothing but a treasure of experiences,
In memories reliving or in chase of wild dreams,
If living not for this imprints, anything other beside,
Than fear no demise for it is already, already dead inside…
The Realist:
Experiences are tricky though remember, each’s pursuit a dream,
Success an elation memory, each failure a haunting ordeal,
Unfailing tracks are unknown; each soul’s doomed alone,
Quandaries universal, answers however each’s own…
The Sage:
Choices that we make, a painting we create,
No life canvas unfolds, with boundaries that predate,
Untold times always aimlessly colour, no mind ends untouched,
Portrait hence will be made – will it be by self or fate?
The Realist:
To live or not to live, that is not the question,
Experiences are not an option, nor feelings a discretion,
But will plunging self to uncertain depths give the pleasures?
Or will idling at false shores in the end bring the treasures…
